Day 1

Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel or airport. Meet your professional safari guide and depart for Amboseli National Park, traveling through Kenya's countryside and traditional Maasai communities toward the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. The journey offers changing landscapes as Nairobi's urban surroundings give way to open plains and rural scenery before you reach the Amboseli ecosystem.

After arriving and enjoying lunch at your mid-range lodge or tented camp, set out for your first afternoon game drive. Explore the park's open grasslands and wetlands while looking for the enormous elephant herds that have made Amboseli famous. Keep your camera ready for giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, antelopes, and potentially lions as Mount Kilimanjaro provides a spectacular backdrop when weather conditions are clear.

Meals: Lunch & Dinner

Transport: Safari minivan (Approx. 240 km | 4–5 hours from Nairobi)

Day 2

Full-Day Amboseli National Park

Start early with a sunrise game drive when wildlife is particularly active and the morning light creates excellent photographic conditions. Amboseli is especially famous for its elephants, and you'll have opportunities to observe large family groups moving between the plains and wetlands. Your guide will also search for lions, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and other wildlife throughout the morning.

Return to the lodge for breakfast before continuing with another wildlife excursion later in the day. You may visit Amboseli's observation areas for panoramic views across the park and, when the skies are clear, enjoy remarkable views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Finish with an afternoon game drive before returning to your accommodation for dinner and a peaceful evening.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Transport: Safari minivan (Approx. 100–140 km of game drives)

Day 3

Amboseli – Nairobi

Wake up early for a final game drive through Amboseli. The cooler morning temperatures often bring wildlife into the open, giving you one last opportunity to photograph elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and predators against the beautiful sunrise. Your guide will focus on areas where wildlife activity is strongest before you return to the lodge for breakfast.

After breakfast, check out and begin your journey back to Nairobi. Travel through the scenic countryside and Maasai communities before arriving in Nairobi later in the afternoon, where you'll be dropped at your hotel or airport, marking the end of your 3-Day Amboseli Elephant Safari.

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch

Transport: Safari minivan (Approx. 240 km | 4–5 hours to Nairobi)
